How guests rate the property, aspect by aspect.
The bed was super comfy, the room was spacious and had everything we needed, and the shower was wonderful with pleasantly scented shampoo and shower gel. Nothing else to note.

We enjoyed the pool and the staff were very helpful; the room was clean and comfortable. Being on the hill was a bit of a hassle, but once we learned about the lift to avoid some of the climb, walking became easier.

Breakfast was great, and the room was clean and warm. We had to draw curtains because people on the decks across the road could see into our room, and we didn’t get a view of Wellington, which was disappointing.

Breakfast was good and the restaurant offered great views, but the chocolate hour food quality was disappointing even though the presentation looked nice. The bed layout in the room was wrong even after we checked it at check‑in. We forgot our ice cream order, and the walk up the hill from the CBD was steep.

The reception desk was run by a beautiful young lady who greeted us in te reo Māori, which felt very welcoming. She answered all our questions and gave us useful suggestions for our stay.
