The room was spacious, spotless, and came with a fridge; the staff were charming, and there was a scooter garage. It’s close to the city centre, and the perpendicular street right across is full of cafés and bakeries, plus several beautiful temples nearby. However, the building’s structure is problematic because every side of the room is made of un‑tinted glass, which means you have to close all curtains for any privacy, especially in the shower where there are slats to prevent accidental exposure. Heavy rain during the wet season seeps into the room, and there’s no thermal insulation, so the glass makes it scorchingly hot. Luckily the air‑conditioning works, but you still have to wait a bit after the day’s heat to cool the glass cube.

The location is great in the centre, just a few minutes’ walk from the port, the night market, and the food street with restaurants and street stalls. The area is quiet, especially at night, and the room was clean and roomy. The staff, though not fluent in English, were welcoming and helpful. The only downside was that the rooms weren’t cleaned daily.

I liked this place because it’s right by the bus stop and close to Sense City. The bathroom facilities are especially nice and clean, there’s an elevator, and a scooter parking lot. I’ll definitely come back!
