The rooms are tidy and close to the airport, a big supermarket, a gas station, and a car wash right beside the station, which is handy if you need to drop off a rental car; it’s about a 15‑minute drive from the centre. The downside is the awful sewage smell near the reception and the worn towels, plus the room lacks tissues and bottled water.

We enjoyed our stay: the room was spotless, the kettle with tea and coffee was handy, and parking was convenient. The hotel’s location outside the city centre suited us because we were driving and preferred that spot, though walking around the city would be easier if you’re planning to explore on foot. During our visit the hotel was being refurbished—fresh paint and dust filled the reception, lobby, and restaurant, and the reception desk had been moved temporarily. We didn’t use the restaurant, but it seemed unlikely you’d want to dine there while construction was ongoing. Knowing about the renovation beforehand would have been helpful.
