“Spiacevole caduta. Per fortuna non è successo niente di grave”
The room was quiet, we were assigned room Lupo, it was very clean and fresh, the bed was comfortable, the wardrobe was spacious, and there was a table and chair. The bathroom was comfortable with a bidet and a large shower. Soap was available at the sink, but shampoo and shower products were missing. The TV was absent, and the room description on Booking didn’t mention a TV (according to Mr. Marco it’s missing in all rooms, though free internet is available). Fortunately, the weather was great and we were outside the room until late at night, but if it rained I would have liked a TV to watch a program or a film; if someone doesn’t want to use the TV it can be left off. This is the first time in hundreds of bookings that I didn’t find a TV in the room. Regarding breakfast, I suggest offering some savory options for those who don’t like sweets (maybe some cheese, ham, eggs). A disturbing issue I reported to Mr. Marco was that when descending from the first floor via the external stairs at night, the steps of the first ramp weren’t lit because the sensor lights didn’t turn on until the last step of the ramp, which caused me to fall in the dark, stumbling along the floor. I only got a few bruises and a cut on my elbow from scraping the wall, but it could have been much worse if I’d broken a bone or hit my head. The stairs are a major accident risk; they need proper lighting at night, especially in a busy place like a B&B. This is a serious shortcoming; the rest of the issues are minor and I wouldn’t have mentioned them otherwise, but the incident could have been far more serious and it’s important to report it.
