“Disgusting place”
Modern rooms with comfy beds and pet‑friendly, cheap rates, but the building was old and filthy—hallways, doors, and walls were covered in questionable grime. When we got to our room the door was open, the AC was blasting cold air so we had to crank up the heat, and a big puddle of water made the place stink. There was a tissue or toilet paper stuck in the peephole, and the clientele felt sketchy, so we left at 4:30 am because we were anxious to get out. A shopping cart sat outside one room, making us wonder if it was a halfway house. We walked in and out three times while loading our car, and the old man at checkout seemed either asleep, passed out, or dead, yet he didn’t flinch as we passed with noisy luggage.
