I got a great deal here; the Wi‑Fi was solid and the TV offered plenty of channels. The room had enough furniture, plus a bedside lamp, and it was roomy overall. The staff were friendly and helpful. The air‑con was old and slow to cool the room, but that’s fine for me because I don’t like a strong blast. Finding a breakfast spot was tricky if you don’t speak Bahasa or know Indonesian cuisine, but I do and enjoyed trying local dishes in the morning.

The hotel is just a 15‑minute walk from Jogja city mall, which is very convenient. However, the pictures online were a bit misleading; the property looked better than it actually is. The building was in disrepair, and the bedroom was tiny with a cramped bathroom that barely lets you close the door without stepping into the shower. The shower flooded the floor, and the bath mat was dirty when we arrived. The mattress had visible springs, and overall you get what you pay for – it’s pretty inexpensive.
