“Honest review: Misleading listing, total lack of privacy, and unacceptable conditions.”

The breakfast was excellent, yet the listing was highly misleading: this is not a country house but rooms inside a family's active, very outdated private home. With a group of 8 and small children, privacy was zero—we walked directly past their bedroom door. Cooking smells were unbearable all day, the hosts living right below us were noisy, the mattresses were rock‑hard, towels were worn out, and there was no proper light bedding for the heat except a decorative bedspread. The host refused to authorize a cancellation upon arrival.

Mr. Joaquim and Mrs. Leonor are people whose attention, affection, and care feel almost extinct; from the first moment they made us feel at home with a friendliness and dedication that go far beyond merely receiving guests. Every detail, every gesture, every word mattered and made our stay even more special. It is rare to find people who welcome others with such genuine warmth and concern. We leave with not only the memory of an excellent stay but also the privilege of having met two extraordinary people. We highly recommend them and hope to return.
