This place was a total disaster from start to finish. The staff barely spoke any English or Hindi, which made communication a nightmare. The rooms were dirty and the towels and bed linen looked like they'd been washed about a million times. Room service took forever and when I finally got my food, it was a relief, but the whole experience was just a mess.
“Very pleasant”
The hotel's secluded location turned out to be a blessing in disguise. It's a bit of a trek to get there, but the peaceful surroundings make it worth the extra effort. The staff were friendly and helpful, which made up for the fact that it's not exactly in the heart of the action. For a place that's a bit off the beaten path, it was okay – not exactly a destination in itself, but a pleasant place to rest your head.
“Hotel locations is good but staff so bad”
The hotel's location is one of its strongest points, right in the heart of the city. However, the service was a major letdown - I encountered staff who seemed completely uninterested in helping me with even the simplest requests. To make matters worse, they tried to charge me extra for breakfast, which was already included in the room rate. On a separate occasion, I requested some basic ingredients and paid without receiving a receipt, which left me feeling uneasy.
