The place is charming, steeped in history and very well maintained, showing the deep love of the owner who invests in the property. We missed a spot to sit outside.

The rooms were immaculate with traditional décor. The breakfast from Mrs. Giota was superb, and she even gave us a tour of the premises, which was full of family heirlooms.

The shower was cramped and the water pressure insufficient for a proper bath. The décor was odd, unlike the pictures, with lots of embroidered hangings everywhere. The host tried to be polite and handled most of our requests with a positive attitude, but she was overwhelming. The location was inconvenient for my family with two teens; the house was far from the village centre and we had to walk down a dark, narrow street, which the kids wouldn’t do alone. The breakfast spread lacked basic plain options that we should have asked for. Additionally, we found the room was overpriced compared to other, better options in the village.

Mrs. Giota, the lovely host, went out of her way to make us feel at home, even serving meals not included in the price. The tasty dishes prepared by her were authentic. The accommodation is in an old house that preserves the family’s history. We appreciated the warm, friendly treatment from the host.

Staying in a 19th‑century guesthouse was truly remarkable; the host showed us many artifacts from her ancestors who once lived there and gave a fascinating tour of their stories. The only downside was that the room was cramped for all five of us, and the nightly rate felt a bit steep.
