“Für Alleinreisende sehr zu empfehlen.”
The rooms are very nice, but breakfast was more of a “hobby level”—no scrambled eggs, just sausage, cheese, and some sweets; it definitely has potential.

The inn impresses with genuine hospitality, a warm welcome, and excellent food crafted with skill, love, and good ingredients; breakfast is also very good, with a great selection of excellent rolls and regional products; the inn is in a quiet side street close to the train station, city centre, and the Thüringen sports school; Bad Blankenburg is a very pretty and well‑maintained town.

The entrance area and parking lot were overgrown with weeds, not very welcoming for guests; the stairs to the rooms were dirty, the rooms were cold, and upon request we received bed linen for our daughter; there was no friendly smile, the breakfast was not very appealing for the price, the tables were not cleared after guests left, and nothing was prepared for those who still wanted to have breakfast.

The breakfast offered a solid variety, and the eggs were cooked to perfection; if you prefer them less done, just ask and they'll adjust. Even guests not staying in the hotel can enjoy breakfast there 😊😊. I did miss a wardrobe, which is understandable given the rooms are under the roof; at times, you have to live off your suitcase.

The hotel’s quiet location and the fantastic dinner at the restaurant, plus the mini fridge in the room, made for a great stay. Nothing to complain about.
