“Perfect bridge to ancient China—incredible hospitality, tasty local food, only 3 hours from BeiJing”

The spot couldn't be better—right in the middle of everything and the place was spotless. Breakfast was a real treat, offering a bunch of authentic local dishes all in one go. The hosts were unbelievably friendly; when I left my laundry in the machine they not only hung it out for me but even offered to iron it. Honestly, I have nothing to complain about, just wish I could've stayed longer.

“Buon hotel per visitare Pingyao!”

Stayed in a modern, spacious room with a staff that was genuinely helpful and even arranged a pick‑up from the train station. The location is spot‑on for exploring Pingyao’s old quarter. The only downside was that the room could have been cleaned a bit more thoroughly.

“Hier kann man das alte China erleben”

We loved the traditional breakfast and the courtyard‑facing room right in the heart of the old town, right next to the historic bank—great vibe all around. Finding the place was a hassle on the map apps; you have to locate the market tower, then head a few meters south on the right side near the old bank and the KFC. Once we got there, it was worth the effort.
