The room was spacious, but the front‑desk staff left a lot to be desired. We tried to reserve a table for 19.30 on our second night at the hotel restaurant, which is supposedly only for spa guests. I mentioned that we were staying three nights at the hotel and found the response disappointing. The employees then switched to Portuguese and suddenly said it was possible, which we declined because we didn’t feel welcome. We wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

The breakfast was excellent, offering a good variety. All staff were very friendly and helpful whenever communication was needed. The hotel’s location is superb, right in the city centre. The air‑conditioning was set to 22º and cold mode, with no option to raise the temperature; I understand it might have been summer, but on the nights we stayed the temperatures were not very high, so it was uncomfortable not being able to warm up the room, even though blankets were provided.

The location is close to the thermal baths, the staff are friendly, and the bath environment is immersive. The distance to the outdoor pool is a drawback, and parking is inconvenient.
