The Armenian hosts were warm and really helpful, and the breakfast was solid – they served local stuff like lavash and homemade jam, plus the tea was surprisingly good. The only odd thing was that the bathroom was down the hall, which felt a bit inconvenient, but it worked fine enough.
The staff treated us with genuine warmth and the rooms were spotless, plus the balcony gave a gorgeous view. The hosts keep a lovely garden and even make their own wine and rings that you can buy. I’d definitely recommend staying here if you want a clean, scenic spot with a personal touch.
This guesthouse is pleasant and the people there are genuinely nice. Verishen is a quiet spot by the river, and the rooms come well equipped; just remember to ask ahead if you want a pool and to book a family room. Overall, a comfortable stay in a peaceful setting.
The owner and his wife were lovely, offering us cake, fresh fruit and herbal tea, and the garden is a nice spot to relax. Getting to both New and Old Goris by marshrutka for just 100 drams was super easy, and the price for the tiny room was hard to beat. On the downside, the hot water flickered and the Wi‑Fi dropped out often, and the bathroom was dim because the bulb had burned out, so some basic upkeep would go a long way.
“Une étape efficace et agréable”
The owner's daughter gave us a warm welcome, and the breakfast—full of farm‑fresh products—was a nice start each morning. The place feels spacious and private, and it’s right off the main road, which is handy. The only thing that could be better is the bedding; it felt a bit worn.
