The room was clean, and honestly I don’t have many more positives to mention, but I have to highlight the restaurant. We only had drinks and soups, yet they were excellent and the plum bircher was fantastic 👍. The surrounding area has a lovely bike trail, so it’s a great spot for cycling 👍. However, in several places around the building and in front of everyone’s presence, there were piles of used laundry (probably bedding and towels). It didn’t feel pleasant.

The staff are pleasant and very helpful, the food is good, and the location is quiet and nice. The rooms are clean, very spacious, though they could be a bit better equipped.

Hřebíkárna is truly a beautiful accommodation in an even nicer setting. We really liked it, to the point that this was already our second stay. When a spot opened a few days before our holiday in Hřebíkárna, we didn’t hesitate a second. We arrived almost on time, and the accommodation and the place did not disappoint. However, the level of service clearly showed that something was going on. Our apartment looked clean and ready at first glance, but we immediately noticed an extra bed that was already made (which didn’t bother us). We took off our shoes and, in white socks, walked a few steps before putting on our slippers. The white socks were no longer white but had stains… Then we realized our apartment wasn’t prepared for us but probably for someone who hadn’t arrived some time ago, and after a week the apartment had been left untouched and nobody bothered to vacuum. The room was also extremely cold (20 °C). We handled that with the reception, and fortunately they sent a maintenance person who re‑started the boiler, and by evening it was warm again. The next disappointment came with breakfast. The food was good, but essentially something was missing all the time. From plates and cutlery to the food itself. First there was nothing to put on a roll, then there was no bread. The idea of spreading butter on a roll with a fork over the soup plate was out of the question. And there were piles of used dishes everywhere. I hope Hřebíkárna can restore the level of service at least to what it was a year ago, because we would like to return.

The staff were genuinely friendly, which made checking in a breeze. The rooms, however, felt a bit too immaculate—everything was arranged so perfectly it almost seemed staged. It was a clean stay, just missing a little lived‑in charm.
