I spotted the motel looking tidy and it’s right next to a bunch of restaurants. The price felt steep for a small room on Saturday, and the bed was decent but I didn’t fall asleep quickly. I also had a hard time figuring out how to turn the TV off.

The spot is great for grabbing a bite—restaurants are right around the corner. The bed was comfy and the AC did its job. The bathroom could use a facelift, but it was clean enough. The only hiccup was a big cobweb in the corner of the room.

The place is clean inside and out, though it feels a bit old-fashioned. The furniture is worn—especially those low chairs in the room. I would've liked a coffee maker, but I knew it wasn't there when I booked. On the plus side, McDonald's and Tim's are right next door.
