How guests rate the property, aspect by aspect.
The location is great, the furniture is solid wood. However, the wallpaper on the walls is peeling, the glass countertop on the dresser is very dirty, the materials are old, the bathroom is tiny, and the plastic shower is worn out.

Nice hotel in an art nouveau building with a central location. The room was roomy and tidy, breakfast offered a variety of choices, and we especially liked the good coffee. If we ever find ourselves back in Constanta, we’ll choose this hotel again. The only downside is that you have to wait a long time for hot water in the shower.

Hotel Carol is impeccably maintained in Victorian style. The rooms are spacious, stylishly furnished, clean, equipped with a coffee and tea set, slippers, towels, and a balcony. Breakfast is varied with meats, cheeses, vegetables, fruits, pastries, juices, coffee, and tea. The staff is helpful and very courteous.

Excellent hotel right in the city center, good breakfast, premium cosmetics in the room, very cozy, close to the beach and all attractions. We recommend this hotel.

The comfort really matched what you'd expect from a 4‑star place, but I’d have to get up again.
