right in the heart of things, making it easy to get around and explore
The scenery at this place was truly breathtaking
The hotel's location in the wild was a major draw for me

“pleasant”
The pool area and garden with braai and boma facilities were nice, and the Wi‑Fi reception was good. However, the room had no TV, the air‑conditioning unit had no remote, and the shower only produced cold water at room temperature.
“Will not recommend anyone to go stay there.”
The breakfast was good and the lady that served us was very friendly. The beds are very uncomfortable. The mattresses are very old and the springs have collapsed. I had to try all 4 single beds to find one decent one to sleep on. The bedsheets of the one bed were still dirty. There was no bottled water in the fridge. The aircon did not work and the fan that was there could not be used due to it having a double point plug on as with the bed lamps
“A Mixed Bag at This Hotel”
The hotel had its good points, like the lovely pool area and the comfortable seating on the other side of the building. However, our stay was marred by a few issues - the bed creaked loudly every time we moved, which was a bit of a nuisance. As a self-catering unit, we were expecting to find some basic supplies, but unfortunately, there was no dish soap, no towels, and no lighter for the gas stove.
“Safe and comfortable.”
I liked the natural vibe, but the ablution facilities were far away, especially for a simple loo at night.
“A Hotel with a Paws-itive Twist”
The hotel itself isn't the main draw - it's the adorable pup that lives there. The staff is friendly and welcoming, but the real star of the show is the furry friend that roams the halls. The rooms are clean and comfortable, but let's be real, you're not going to be spending much time in there when you've got a cute companion to hang out with. Overall, it's a great place to stay if you're a dog lover, but I'd advise against mentioning the one thing that might make you not want to go back.
