“Muy mal, no volvería”

The location is spot‑on, which was the main reason I chose this place, but the bathroom was a nightmare – the trash wasn’t taken out on Sunday, there was no toilet paper and the curtain kept falling off its pole. The mattress was sunken enough to feel the boards underneath, the duvet cover and sheets were dirty until they finally washed them the next day, and both the cold and hot taps were broken; on top of that the TV remote was busted and the TV stopped working one night.

The hotel sits in a handy spot and the manager was friendly and attentive, which made the stay pleasant. The rooms could have been a little cleaner – there were some areas that looked missed, but nothing that really spoiled the experience. Overall it was a comfortable place with good service.

The location is excellent, making it easy to get around the city. I arrived a bit early and there was nobody at the front desk, so I had to make a few phone calls to the manager before they finally let me in. Apart from that check‑in hiccup, the stay was fine.

“Fijn verblijf en lieve mensen”

The hostel’s kitchen and rooftop were the real highlights – very social, cozy, a free towel, a little shop downstairs and staff were quick to help with anything you needed. The only thing that ruined the night was finding a cockroach in my cup, which was pretty gross, though they did boil the cup the next morning to clean it. Overall a friendly spot with one nasty surprise.
