“Welcoming, affordable room in a quiet area away from the bustle and noise.”

After landing in Kathmandu, I stayed two nights here; the owners were warm and welcoming, the room was simple but roomy with a handy closet, and the location is a bit over an hour’s walk to Thamel (about 15 minutes by cab), so it’s not in the historic center; I appreciated how much quieter it was compared to the rest of Kathmandu, being in the city yet away from the bustle, and I’ll definitely return whenever I’m in the area.

“Modern and quiet”

The property was very good—new, modern, clean, safe, quiet, and comfortable—with an excellent bed, blanket, pillows, and linen; the electric kettle was great, and a 15‑minute walk brought me to the stupa; for the price, you get a dignified room, so I recommend it. The hot water only works when the sun shines, so it’s not always available.

The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the room felt modern and well kept. The facilities were clean and secure, and the hotel sits in a quiet neighbourhood yet within walking distance of everything you might need. However, the solar water heater stopped working after a few days of rain, so there was no hot water; not much the hotel could do about that.
