The hotel is centrally located, clean and tidy, with newly decorated areas, comfortable beds that gave a great night's sleep, and friendly owners; Andrea was lovely. The shower pressure was low, there was no breakfast offered, but Morrisons café is across the street and Greggs is a 5 minute walk, so that was no problem.

The staff were lovely, warm, and welcoming; the rooms were clean and modern, and the pub was great. It was the best place to stay on my first night in Scotland. Parking could be a pain if you arrive by ferry in a car, but you probably won't find an in‑town guest house that doesn't have that issue.
