“Friendly, and very comfortable. Beautiful room.”
The room was beautiful and comfortable. I had to leave before breakfast, but the staff kindly left me a pack‑up in the fridge. Thank you!

We were on a road trip and stopped by the pub to catch up with a friend, so the spot was perfect for us. Alex and Richard welcomed us warmly and we even dined there, which was decent. Breakfast was prepared on the spot after we’d arranged it the night before, and overall we liked our stay and would come back if we’re in the area again. The only downside was that breakfast started at 9am, which felt a bit late; we’d have preferred 8am or 8.30am because we wanted to hit the road sooner. The room we stayed in looked a bit worn, but that’s to be expected from a pub with rooms.

A cute, clean, nice place to stay if you're in Shropshire. Church Stretton is a nice town to be in as well

Great location, friendly staff, good breakfast, and nice beers. The pub itself feels a little tired.
