Teras Pahawang

El. Hotel is in a great location; it's pretty, and you can walk to a nearby beach. You can kayak and paddle‑surf right at the hotel. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, have air‑conditioning and a water dispenser, and you can make tea or coffee whenever you like. The hotel needs some refurbishment, especially the bathrooms which are a bit worn. The food is very repetitive, but there's a nearby restaurant where they serve vegetable omelets and calamari, giving you a change of pace.

“Wij kijken met heel veel plezier terug en raden Teras Parawang absoluut aan!”

We had an incredible time at Teras Parawang, and the island's untouched beauty and friendly locals made us feel right at home. Our room was stunning, with breathtaking views that left us speechless every morning. However, we did feel that the menu could be more varied, especially after four days, when the options started to feel repetitive. A few more choices would have made our stay even more complete.

I had a fantastic stay in the bungalows, which were truly great. The island itself offered a lot to see and do, and I was impressed by the professionalism and friendliness of the staff, particularly Haris. Overall, I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

“A good place to stay, but watch out for the transport hustle”

The location and deck area were lovely, but our stay was marred by a few issues. We arrived at the house around 1 pm and were told that the boat back to the mainland only ran at 6 am, and we'd have to pay a steep 500,000 for a speedboat. To make matters worse, we were overcharged for the boat ride when a normal one came to pick up the Indonesian family next to us at 11 am. The food was also quite simple, but the staff did their best. Despite this, the rest of the place was nice.

This place is perfect for family vacations, with plenty of activities like snorkeling, canoeing, and banana boat rides, as well as stunning scenery. We had a great time here.
