The house sits in a wonderful area, full of peace, quiet, and tranquility! However, the owner’s heart and soul seem to have vanished after the renovation. The ground‑floor apartment was completely full of termites when we arrived, and it was clear they weren’t addressing the issue; we had to buy a termite spray the next day and spray the bedroom ourselves to make them disappear for a while. There was no mosquito net in the living room or bathroom, the electric kettle was totally covered in limescale, so I had to clean it with vinegar, and the sponge was so disgusting and dirty that I washed dishes by hand instead. In the garden, the hammock and the swing beds were filthy, and we had no desire to lie in any of them. It’s a shame because it could have been a lovely little apartment if they had taken better care of it.
