How guests rate the property, aspect by aspect.
The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choices, and the dinner menu was also great. The restaurant and rooms were spacious, with fires that let you eat and drink comfortably. However, the paintwork in the bedroom needed touching up, and the carpet on the stairs to the bedrooms was threadbare in places and needs replacing.

The breakfast was great, and they housed my bike in a safe and secure place. There was no food on Sunday evening, and it was not clear when I booked.

The pub sits on the high street, so shops and restaurants are within easy reach. Our room was a good size with a bath and a shower, breakfast was excellent, and the staff were helpful. The floorboards in the room were very creaky, which didn't really bother us, but would have been very noisy for anyone below.

The staff were friendly and helpful, the restaurant and food were excellent, and the accommodation was very clean. Car parking was a bit of a struggle for disabled guests, although I appreciate the location is a bit restrictive.

The location to the town and surrounding area was good, and the breakfast was also good.
