The hotel’s location is fantastic—just two blocks from the train station and across from the promenade by Lake Maggiore, with many nearby restaurants and close to the funicular railway that takes you up to the Madonna del Sasso sanctuary for panoramic views. The bed was comfortable, the balcony was cute, and the staff were friendly. The included breakfast was just OK; more options would have been nice, but otherwise everything about the hotel was liked.

The small hotel had newly equipped, functional rooms and was absolutely clean. The label “Boutique and Resort Hotel” is absolutely misleading; I expect a wellness area from a resort and a special style from a boutique, but there was hardly any wellness area. The rooms were new but only functional. The bathroom, also new, was so small that even a slim person could barely move. The location, food, and staff were top; for one night it was okay, but I would not book it again.

A lovely little lakeside hotel, lovingly and tastefully renovated and furnished, with a wonderful view of the lake. Nothing to complain about.

The spot is great, right by the lake, and the lift plus a couple of steps make moving luggage a breeze. Breakfast was basic but did the job, and one evening we dined at the on‑site restaurant and it turned out pretty good. Our only gripe was that the international plugs didn’t fit the outlets, though the USB ports let us charge our phones.
