How guests rate the property, aspect by aspect.
Each private room had a hot spring, but there was also a separate large bath that made the spa experience very comfortable; the kaiseki meals for dinner and breakfast were enjoyable in both taste and timing. The concierge service matched our needs, and the surroundings were very quiet. The only disappointment was that there was nothing else to distinguish it; everything else was satisfactory.

The food, service and atmosphere were all superb, and I think I would have been even more satisfied if it hadn’t been off‑season. The inn sits right by a stream, which gave it a charming feel, but the water noise was so loud that sleeping well was difficult; I understand the building’s acoustics are limited, but some mitigation would be appreciated.
