The spot is great, the view from the window is stunning, the breakfast is very good, and the staff are absolutely friendly. I definitely recommend it!

Hotel Leonor de Aquitania, Cuenca, overlooks the Huecar gorge and features a spa. Housed in an 18th-century building, it offers an authentic setting amidst historic sights. The hotel boasts a restaurant serving regional cuisine and a cafe-bar with medieval city views. Free access to a seasonal pool at Hotel Resort Cueva del Fraile, 5 km away, is also provided.

The shower is fantastic.

The location is great and the fact that they’re pet‑friendly lets us bring our little dog. The building has charm in the historic centre. The jacuzzi shown in the pictures costs extra and must be booked in advance, and this isn’t mentioned on the Booking page. The value for money is poor; we found the price too high for a 3‑star hotel with these features.

The location is fine. The reception staff were disappointing; we had a hot‑water problem, couldn’t shower for 24 hours, and they only offered a poor compensation. They were far from empathetic, rude and out of place, with a cocky attitude and bad manners from both the morning and evening receptionists. The hotel is well‑located but there are several similar ones on the street; I won’t return because of the reception staff.
