The place was well‑located and clean. The water pressure in the bathtub was very weak, and there were no armchairs in the apartment for a mid‑day break.
“A fantastic start to our family Italian holiday and we all had a wonderful experience.”
The property comfortably fit our family of six, and the staff were friendly and helpful with local sightseeing tips and recommendations for great restaurants. Everything was within walking distance, which was convenient. Each day the rooms were refreshed with new towels and essentials like coffee and toilet paper—a pleasant surprise that we appreciated. There was nothing to complain about; everything was excellent.
“Perfect stay in a perfect location”
Gonfalone 6 sits in a perfect spot for all of Rome’s sights. The rooms are large with comfy beds, ideal after a long day of exploring. The staff were welcoming and friendly. Nothing to add.
We’re about a 30‑minute walk from the Vatican and the Colosseum, and the hotel’s location was great. The room faced the street with a view of the river, but it was quiet and the AC worked well. The only downside was that the bathroom only had a bathtub with a wand for showering, which wasn’t what we wanted.
The location made it easy to reach Trastevere, the Vatican, and other landmarks. However, the Tiber River isn’t as romantic as one might expect, so don’t base your stay on a river view.
