“Aux Heures Bleues: fantastica location in una bellissima cittadina provenzale!”
The three rooms here are themed: one is musical (Gershwin’s “Rhapsody in Blue”), one is African, and the last is Provençal. They’re very spacious and decorated with great care. They have a fridge bar, a coffee machine, and a tea pot with free tea bags. The location is excellent: in five minutes you reach the church square and the shopping streets, and in two more minutes you get to the “restaurant street”. A special mention goes to Denis, the owner, who is wonderfully kind, empathetic, and very helpful. He also prepares great (and generous) breakfasts with quality products he personally selects and buys from a small shop near the property (ask for it: it’s very nice and has interesting items). In short, the B&B is worth the trip to L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, which is a very pretty village full of canals and fountains, and strategically located to visit Arles, Roussillon (with the beautiful Ochre Trail), Les Baux de Provence, and other Provençal spots. Dover has to start again after only three days.
