An absolutely lovely place to stay, with a warm welcome from the staff and an exceptionally clean room that offered a great view; it was well worth a night’s break away. Thank you, Rachel (Norwich). I have nothing negative to say.

This gem in Lowestoft feels full of history and the staff were incredibly kind and friendly; the location is perfect for exploring the town and it sits right across from the main beach. The breakfast was superb and kept me energized for the whole day.

I enjoyed a lovely one‑night stay: the staff were friendly, the view was beautiful, the food and facilities were good, the bed was comfortable, and the historic building and décor were brilliant; I would definitely recommend it. As a charity, I hope they can raise enough funds for a full refurbishment, but that didn’t diminish the overall experience.

The property is so quirky and full of so much history. Room 5 - The beds were so uncomfortable and squeaked with every move. The curtains didn’t close properly. And then whilst having a shower in the morning the whole bathroom flooded, luckily my family member was staying in the next room so I was able to rinse the shampoo off my hair. Breakfast wasn’t what we expected. Choice of eggs, nothing else cooked. Few cereals and pastries which had seen better days. Toast and pre packed croissants - gluten free. Was hoping for a try up with the price paid. I don’t like writing reviews like this but it’s such a shame as the b&b is such a nice establishment with so much history
