“Hearty meals and friendly service”
The food here was solid – both dinner and the breakfast buffet were generous and tasty. The staff were warm and helpful, and the owner seemed genuinely eager to make sure everything went smoothly. I left feeling well taken care of.
“Central spot for public transport”
The place is right in the middle of everything, just a short walk to the bus stops in Saas‑Fee. It made getting around the town effortless.
“Great location and food, but too many emails and missing basics”
The hotel sits in a perfect spot in Saas‑Almagell, and the breakfast was very good; we also celebrated New Year’s Eve at the partner Monte Moro, where the staff were friendly and the food excellent. However, we were bombarded with at least ten follow‑up emails after booking, which felt unnecessary, and the rooms lacked basic amenities like a fridge or kettle—hardly expected at this price point. To make matters worse, our friends didn’t get hot water for their showers, which was frustrating.
“Smooth communication and comfy rooms”
From the moment we booked, the hotel kept us in the loop, even sending clear instructions for picking up the keys when we arrived late. The quiet, clean building offers a great view and the triple room turned out to be surprisingly roomy. Breakfast was fine with endless coffee, and the staff were consistently polite. Dinner at the nearby Monte Moro was delicious, and the waiters made us feel right at home.
“Large rooms, but staff‑less nightmare”
The rooms themselves were large and the breakfast (served at a neighboring hotel) was outstanding, but the whole experience was marred by a lack of staff and a bunch of avoidable hassles. We arrived to find the reception locked, no envelope with our keys, and had to call a phone number to get access; the third bed was an uncovered sofa with missing blankets, pillows and linens, which we eventually scavenged from stair‑well closets that were stained.
