My family—mother, father, and adult son—was traveling from northern Germany to Vienna for a funeral and booked a suite here on a whim midway. We were welcomed warmly, served a tasty dinner by a cheerful and professional staff even though the restaurant was full, and afterward we could use the small, nice wellness area. The next morning’s breakfast was pleasant. What struck us most was the palpable love throughout the hotel, evident in the design and ongoing development of this century‑old family business. We could almost see the different generations of owners, each proudly watching the additions to their establishment. The fact that it’s a training facility was also noticeable; the staff’s friendly guidance left a good impression. Even though we only observed a short period, we felt the staff were comfortable in their demanding environment and would gladly return.
