The hotel's location was excellent, with a restaurant on site and a cozy atmosphere inside
I was expecting some issues with noise and disturbance, but to my surprise, the hotel was incredibly quiet and peaceful
We had the best room during our stay, and the on-site restaurant served delicious food with friendly service
I absolutely adore the romantic atmosphere of this place, which is perfect for older couples in love

The location was a big plus, very close to the trails. There was no hot water in the shower, strange smells from the plumbing and the room, and despite reporting the water issue we were left to deal with it the whole stay without any fix.
The price, location, veranda, and antique style were good. The walls were thin and you could hear everyone in the house.
The location is great, close to the city centre, and unlike other places there’s plenty of space for cars. Parking in and out is easy, the room is clean, and the soft blankets were really handy for evenings on the terrace.
“Nie polecam !!”
The location, parking, and hot water were positives. The key collection was 2 km from the destination and required a personal trip, the entrance doors were sometimes open and sometimes closed, the kitchen window was wide open and anyone could walk in from the street. The owner, a resident (I’m not sure exactly who, an older lady), was vulgar and shouted at us about the key situation, even though she had told us to act that way before. The windows were leaky, the floor was squeaky, and the overall condition was poor.
“Ich muss leider kritisieren....”
The Villa Grota is in a wonderful setting, a very good starting point for my mountain tour. The people in Kapacz are known to be very open and friendly ;-) My real goal wasn’t the mountain tour over the Kammlinie, I would have left immediately. I don’t have high expectations, but this place? The bed has probably outlived its best days, the upholstery is worn. The balcony… two “Not” folding chairs, otherwise you can only use the floor. If you want to bring something onto the balcony (a drink, books, etc.) you can’t put it anywhere in between except on the railing or the floor. Then the sanitary conditions… they’re not sustainable. The sink and the bathtub are a horror (see photos). The crown is the faucets for the bathtub and sink: the water pressure is disappointing and the bathtub shower creates a bright whistle, barely letting hot water out, the bathtub and sink inside… for heaven’s sake! Luckily I had slippers with me, so I could stand in the bathtub. For the price charged for this accommodation – no, actually for none – it’s impossible. I travel a lot through Poland, practically a “permanent guest” in this country, but I haven’t experienced anything like this in the last decades. To the landlord/operator: the venerable building deserves more than this criticism here. The building is a jewel, it’s just the equipment that matters. It’s not that hard. We guests have pointed out the priorities, so… what are you waiting for? Your bookings would definitely benefit.
