“Over-priced for such a poor room, although beds comfy and it is in a good location”
The beds were comfortable and the place stayed quiet, and the kettle and mugs were handy, but it was a let‑down that no tea or coffee came with them, even though a coffee drink and milk were supplied. The location is prime, though Fort William was packed with people lining up for restaurants. We booked at the last minute, so we appreciated having a room with beds instead of having to camp in the wind. We paid £72 for the night for two of us and had a kettle, yet the shared bathroom was mouldy in spots and dirty, with hairs in the plug holes and on many surfaces. The entrance to the building before the stairs looked like a construction site, and we wondered whether the accommodation met rental regulations such as a fire escape and alarm. The room had no TV, and even though it wasn’t that cheap at £72, the overall experience fell short.
