The hotel’s location had a sunny view of the Sancerrois slopes in September. The hotel side felt a bit dated but was largely offset by the food and the very friendly staff. The breakfast was plentiful. The bar offered a charcuterie board and Chavignol cheese, which was great. We also had dinner (a wide selection and excellent) in the lovely dining room decorated with nice modern paintings. We were used to a 160‑cm bed, so the 140‑cm bed with a soft mattress didn’t suit us.

The public areas were very good and the bar and evening dining service were solid, but the room itself was very poor and extremely small. I’ve had larger showers in the caravans I own. It took 5 minutes for hot water to arrive, and the bathroom urgently needs an upgrade. There was only one electric socket in the room, hidden behind the bedside cabinet.

Nichts. Im Zimmer total verdreckter Teppichboden Die Toilette war absolut katastrophal. Das Fenster konnten wir nicht öffnen, da wir mit den Geräuschen der Lüfter die direkt auf dem Innenhof waren nicht schlafen konnten. Bisher konnte ich mir als guter Booking Kunde nicht vorstellen dass so etwas angeboten wird. Wir verlangen eine Erstattung für Zimmer 117 Zimmer 106 war ok
