How guests rate the property, aspect by aspect.
Running up the nearby hill to watch the balloons was great, and the location is nice for walks through the Rose and Red Valleys, though you’ll need a taxi to get to Göreme. The room was very humid, had a strong smell, and we had to air it out daily to make it bearable. The bed, especially the pillows, were hard and uncomfortable, and multiple messages to book activities went unanswered.

The staff were friendly, the village is nice, the mattresses were very comfortable, the rooms looked good, and the view was great. The hotel is in Çavuşin, just outside Göreme. For political reasons, taxis from Göreme cannot start a journey in Çavuşin, so you rely on three local taxi drivers who are usually busy and not available all day, especially at sunrise or sunset. Arrange private tours ahead of time for all activities if staying in Çavuşin.

The place has a superb location and offers excellent value, yet several items listed were missing: no electric kettle or coffee maker, no electric heater so we had to use a hair dryer to warm the room, the safe was broken, the internal bathroom fan didn’t work, and there was no plug in the wash basin.
