The location is perfect if you need to be near George Washington Univ. or the hospital – just a 4‑minute walk to Foggy Bottom Metro and the hospital, and a short walk to the Watergate Hotel and a great river boardwalk that leads to upscale restaurants. Filameno’s Italian is a real treat. This all‑suite hotel was ideal for our 12‑night stay while my daughter recovered from surgery before traveling. The kitchen had a stove top, full refrigerator, and was stocked with pots, pans, utensils, a toaster, etc. The neighborhood is quiet except for occasional sirens heading to the hospital. The hotel itself was extremely quiet, except for one night when a family with four children kept slamming doors loudly; they only stayed that one night and the other 11 nights were peaceful. It’s a short walk to Whole Foods and several restaurants. The staff are fantastic in every way, especially Marcelo and Eric, who patiently answered questions and helped with any request. The breakfast staff are energetic and efficient, and the buffet’s food and selection are better than other included hotel breakfasts. The housekeeping staff are eager to please, always professional and helpful, and I never saw a cleanliness issue during the entire extended stay. I can’t say enough positive about this property or its staff. Book it with no regrets if you’re in the Foggy Bottom area of DC. It seems half filled with quiet businesspeople who eat during the first quiet hour of breakfast, and half tourists with families who eat during a louder, frenzied second breakfast time. Nothing negative about the property. It was convenient to have two washer‑dryers open on the ground floor, and my husband enjoyed the elliptical and other exercise equipment in the small gym. I’d give the property a 12 if possible.

The place is close to the station and a supermarket, the breakfast spread was generous, and the kitchen had every utensil we needed for cooking, yet our room faced the parking lot and the view was disappointing.

Breakfast was excellent, the location was superb and just a stone’s throw from GW station. The rooms came with all the essentials, and we could whip up meals in the kitchenette. Laundry facilities were a nice bonus, and the front desk could give us change or quarters, though you could also pay with a card. I really wanted to use my Marriott Bonvoy card to pay for the rooms, but I didn’t have the physical card (I only had it as a phone payment option). The front desk didn’t support tap or Apple Pay, so I had to use a different card and miss out on the points.

The surroundings were peaceful and beautiful, and the metro was super close.
