The location was excellent, but the room on the third floor had no elevator, which is a pity.

Hostellerie de Genève sits in Vevey’s center, 120 m from Lake Geneva on the Market Place. Individually decorated rooms feature satellite TV, private showers, and free Wi‑Fi. Guests dine on a terrace or in the French restaurant, while a nearby supermarket and a 5‑minute walk to Vevey train station and Ronjat bus stop add convenience. Montreux and Lausanne are easily accessible.

The location was great, close to the train station with lake views, yet the bed was very low, so I’d advise older guests to avoid it.

The spot was decent, but the noise and the old‑fashioned condition were disappointing.

The spot is great, parking is plentiful, nothing else to note.

We hopped on the ferry to Vevey, spotted the hotel right as we docked, and it was just a short walk from the train station to head back home. The attached bar and restaurant were solid, and there were plenty of nearby options. A few bus stops were also within easy reach. My room was spacious, featured a seating area and a large balcony that made it perfect for watching the world go by while soaking in the stunning lake and mountain views. The host and staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. The bathroom was adequate, though the shower cubicle could have been a bit larger for a room of that size, a minor inconvenience. There was only a wardrobe; a small chest of drawers would have been nice, another small drawback. Overall, there were more positives than negatives.
