The location is beautiful and the apartment is wonderful. We stopped here before heading to a Harry Styles concert in London, and it felt much better than staying in the big city. It was peaceful, comfortable, and there was a lovely cat 🐈

The location was lovely and very quiet. The owner was very friendly and would have helped with anything I needed. The place itself had the basics you would expect, but no extra frills. I was grateful for the French Press. The kitchenette (I must have missed this info when booking) had a tiny microwave, kettle, and toaster, so I had to wash up in the bathroom. The plates were too big for the microwave and the bowls were too small for my breakfast. The salt & pepper shakers didn’t work. There was no bin or instructions on where to put rubbish, so I used a carrier bag and it was a bit stinky by day 3. The freezer compartment in the fridge had no door, so all my fruit and veg froze – a bit annoying because I was limited to what I could make in the kitchenette. The TV would have been better in the bedroom; I found the sofa very uncomfortable, and after a long day I just wanted to be cosy, which the living room/kitchenette was absolutely not, unfortunately.

The decor is beautiful, it’s well stocked, and the location is wonderfully quiet. The heated floor was a particular luxury. Matt the host was excellent – he communicated very well before and during the stay, and was extremely helpful and flexible. The shower could use an upgrade.
