Motel 6 Mesa, AZ - Downtown

“AVOID THIS PLACE”

The shower had hot water and some remodeling had been done, but the motel was unsafe with staff who were consistently inept and rude, possibly suffering from mental illness or substance abuse. The cable in my room didn't work, and a staff member said it had been broken for a long time; the room lock was also faulty and extremely sensitive. A male maintenance worker was troublesome from the moment I arrived and caused major issues. The bed was very uncomfortable. AVOID THIS MOTEL.

El lugar estaba malo; estaba sucio y no había toallas ni papel.

“Health department contacted”

I paid $400 for six nights, which seemed like a good deal, but I had to spend the first night on a different floor because of bed bugs. All compensation requests were denied; the standard procedure for bedbugs was to move rooms and “spray,” and laundry was not considered.

I didn't have high expectations beyond the location, but the place was nasty.

I do not recommend this hotel at all; they have cockroaches, and there are no towels, soap, lotion, or anything else. There are no blankets, there is mold, the bathtub is disgusting—it looks like it hasn't been cleaned in years—and the receptionist is very rude. It is the worst
