“mehr erwartet wenig bekommen”

My room was decent, the balcony was the highlight, but the furniture felt outdated. Breakfast wasn’t offered because the dining room and kitchen were closed; I had to go to the nearby bakery, where the spread was minimalistic. For each cup of coffee I had to pay again, and eggs or other items were only available with an extra fee. Trash wasn’t taken out because no staff were visible, so I can’t judge the personnel. I expected something different from a hotel.

“Lækkert hotel til når man er på farten”

The hotel looks newly renovated. The restaurant was closed because it was also being renovated. The hotel is a 10‑minute drive from the A1 in a small, quiet suburb of Bremen. It’s only a 2‑minute walk to the city square, where there are several restaurants. It can definitely be recommended as a place to stay when you’re on the go. There’s free parking in the courtyard. One small issue: Check‑in is self‑service via a key box, but it was hard to find (it hides next to some mailboxes on the opposite side of the entrance to the parking lot).
