First off, I want to thank the young woman I chatted with on WhatsApp; she was the very first contact I had with the hotel and immediately impressed me with her kindness, availability and professionalism, even sending me videos of the different rooms to help me decide. Her thoughtful gesture gave me an excellent first impression of the place. I also owe a huge thank you to the entire team: Youssra, Yassir, Omar, Kenza, the car‑pool crew, the supervisor, the reception and room‑service staff, the guys at the pool area, and everyone else who helped make our stay so exceptional. I’ve stayed in several 5‑star hotels among the most renowned in Morocco, but I must honestly say this experience was different. It was, for me, one of the most luxurious stays I’ve ever had, not just because of the hotel or its facilities, but because of the friendliness, attention, availability and professionalism of every team member. I was especially touched by all the preparations for my wife’s birthday: the beautiful décor, the flowers with which we were welcomed, the spontaneous birthday wishes from several staff members, and the overall feeling that everyone genuinely wanted to make the day unforgettable. Even when we were leaving, I was deeply moved to see several staff members staying to say goodbye. Small gestures like these are precisely what create the most beautiful memories. I also want to highlight the responsiveness and professionalism of the reception and room‑service teams.

The staff’s attention and friendliness throughout the entire guest experience, even post‑checkout, are exceptional and make the stay memorable; a big thank you to Yassir from Front Office and Soufiane from Concierge (and all the others whose names I unfortunately can’t recall) who truly make the difference between a typical premium or luxury hotel. The à la carte breakfast and the accompanying service are a delight for the senses and memories. The view is breathtaking, the mini‑suite is magnificent, and the blend of exclusive Moroccan artisanal touches with the contemporary luxury of the chain is very well achieved. The spa and indoor pool are a true masterpiece! A huge bravo. The Peacok Alley restaurant, the hallmark of the Waldorf chain, is indeed a must‑visit when staying there, but because it also serves as the hotel lobby, it attracts all kinds of external clientele who come to enjoy the view (especially the sunset, which is unparalleled in Rabat) and to taste the cocktails (not to be missed!) and other pastries and small dishes. It really isn’t the ideal setting for celebrating an intimate birthday (as was our case). We would have appreciated being warned (since we had announced that we were celebrating an event that evening) so we could have chosen the other more intimate restaurant. But this small flaw does not spoil the overall experience.

Upon arrival I was treated like a king by the highly professional and friendly staff; I travel a lot but rarely everything is perfect in a hotel, but here everything was spot on. Breakfast was amazing and there was an abundance of healthy fresh products prepared by the top chefs of the hotel. The two restaurants also serve delicious dishes. Not to mention a wonderful bed and a stunning bathroom with a bathtub. Rabat as a city is a must‑visit if you travel to Morocco; the capital is the only large city that sits directly on the Atlantic coast, plenty to do, and it’s quite different from a weekend in London. Nothing at all! This is the best hotel in Rabat.
