The three of us had a comfortable stay. We used the bath, and we also enjoyed a day trip to a nearby hot spring, making the stay in Beppu city a real pleasure. No negative points.

The room was spotless and had a clean vibe, and it was surprising to find that the kitchen tools, bath set, and first aid kit were all at a level that let you live comfortably. There were two bedrooms, so up to four people could stay. When I needed help, the staff replied quickly by email. The only downside was that the place is on the second floor and the stairs are steep, which would be tough for older guests. Also, Beppu Station is right nearby, so the train noise can be heard until late at night, which can be stressful if you’re not used to it. That’s about all that was not great.

“Great place that I will not hesitate to stay again but this time with a small luggage.”

The spot is great, with a Maxvalu supermarket close by, and the apartment even has everything you need to make a hotpot, including a dishwasher. The owner was very kind and walked us through the house to show how everything worked. The only issue was that there was no elevator, so my husband had to haul our big luggage up a flight of stairs.
