“Great location with lovely staff”
We arrived for a three‑night stay and Tanya welcomed us at La Pescheria restaurant. She handed us a €30 parking card, cheaper than paying for street parking. She led us down a side street to an old door and up a flight of marble stairs. Inside was a room with beautiful porticos and a high ceiling—one of only three rooms, sensitively renovated with LED lighting, a fridge, TV and a quiet, efficient AC unit. The double bed had plenty of storage and a small Juliet balcony, perfect for drying clothes. The bathroom was tiny but fully functional, with a good rainfall shower, sink, toilet, and plenty of shampoo and soap. I’d recommend this place, right in a “vico” of the ancient Via della Indipendenza. We dined in their restaurant all three evenings. Friendly staff and good food, brought to life with a slightly chaotic, noisy, fun Neapolitan style of service.
