“Great place to relax and enjoy the beach.”
The oceanfront view and onsite restaurant are fantastic, but the lobby isn’t a good space for private gatherings. A company held a private event in the lobby and it interrupted our stay because we couldn’t sit there. They should rethink offering that space for group entertainment.
“Decent stay but wouldn’t be my first choice again due to cost”
The location, the room, and the staff are all good, but the pillows and towels were kind of stiff. It was a bit pricey; one night in a king‑size oceanfront bed cost $318 for prepay, which would have been more if I had chosen pay‑upon‑arrival.
“The most amazing, beautiful, and comfortable place I come be at and relax.”
The beach is great, but the laundry was very confusing.
“There are cheaper places that offer a better experience.”
I liked how close the beach was and Kevin from the Bistro was pretty good too. The snarly staff annoyed me; I saw B'anna snarl at a frazzled customer about her room. Later I asked a staff member for a cup of coffee and she acted like I was asking for a loan. We decided to try the Bistro after a long drive and not wanting to go back out. I got a jerk shrimp with black beans, rice, peppers, onions and chives maybe, but they forgot everything but the shrimp and rice, a tiny portion for $22. They kindly fixed it and I ordered a banana fosters cheesecake to take to my room, but they forgot the cheesecake. REALLY!! The room is small, the TV was complicated, and the whole experience wasn’t worth $200. I’m disappointed honestly. No free breakfast either; the cheapest places offer free breakfast. As I’m submitting this, I rate my stay a 3…but it’s more like a 1.5 or 2 at best.
“Pretty good”
My husband had breakfast and said it was good, but it was too expensive for me. The location is great—right on the beach! They charged for parking and there was no coffee in the lobby.
