The location is convenient to DTW and rental cars. The fitness center is closed, and breakfast is very poor—just a few pastries, cereal, and coffee—so it shouldn't be called breakfast. The shuttle is shared with parking lots and other hotels; a five‑minute ride takes 20 minutes. I found a cockroach (or a similar bug) in my room.

It was close to the airport. The hotel was outdated, with multiple different smells stuck in certain areas. The bed comforters were nasty and dirty, the shower curtain was brown and outdated, and the sink clogged every time it was used; it just felt very uncomfortable during the stay, but I had no choice but to deal with it because there was nothing else available. The odors stuck in the hallway, elevator, lobby, and room stayed there the entire stay.
