“Review of Cold River hotel in”

I can’t think of any negatives about this hotel; the staff, rooms, shower, bed—all were perfect. Its location is a real perk: we walked to the night market, climbed a nearby wat for a panoramic city view, and the riverside had plenty of great restaurants.

The stay was excellent! The owners were super friendly, as was the staff; the rooms were comfortable and the balcony was a real bonus. Breakfast was very pleasant, and the hotel’s location made getting around convenient. We had a great time and highly recommend it.

The venue was fairly quiet and the breakfast was tasty. Some rooms have been updated, which probably explains the overall rating. Unfortunately, the room I got wasn't one of those; it didn't match the listing: the mattress was extremely hard, some equipment was broken, the hot‑water system was unreliable, and the internet didn't work. The terrace was poorly maintained, and the room’s overall condition was disappointing.

The room felt very cozy and the breakfast was delicious. One of our friends accidentally left a jacket in the room; after contacting the apartment, the staff claimed there was no jacket, which is false.
