How guests rate the property, aspect by aspect.
The size was good, the location decent, it was a nice holiday park, and it was quiet. It felt dirty: carpets and sofa had fleas inside, kitchen cupboards were greasy. It wasn’t terrible but it was tired and grimey, adults wouldn’t sit on the sofa after the first day, and everyone got bitten by bugs.

Beautiful place. The entire carpet in the living room stank of dog piss – utterly revolting, you could only stand to sit there and smell it for so long. Turning on the hoover made it smell of vomit; my poor mother had to wash it all out in the bathroom so we could hoover up. The smell was SO INTENSE of rotten vomit… I was called up on arrival day and told that if I bought Parkdean entertainment passes from this guy over the phone I would get them much cheaper than Parkdean themselves, but I found out that was a lie and he was trying to sell me them for 2‑3 pounds more. When I decided I didn’t want to buy them I was bombed with extremely rude, insulting, vile text messages from him. I had to complain to booking about it.

The rooms were spacious and we were given everything we needed to enjoy our time there. Cleanliness was not great; we found rubbish still under the beds, including a vape. The bath plug did not work, and I spent an hour trying to fix it myself so my kids could bathe – it did not work for the duration of our stay. Some bed slats are broken on the beds. The carpets need a good clean; they do not smell nice (likely due to dogs previously staying there). The mattress does not fit the base very well.

The lodge was spacious and never felt cramped, giving plenty of room to move around. The outdoor furniture, however, left something to be desired.

The caravan was a nice size and the owner was friendly. The activity pass cost 27£pp, and the activities themselves weren't the best; most required extra payment anyway, and you could visit the park for free until 5 pm, so it felt like a waste of money.
