Everything is cared for in detail, from the room’s scent to the solid soaps. It’s very well located in the village, and the parking offers very acceptable value for money. The bed is very comfortable, the sheets and towels are excellent. There’s enough space in the room, and the area is very quiet. The hosts are very attentive. It’s a small hotel and retains its charm.

Perfect location, wonderful view of the city of Alquezar. The staff are very kind and helpful and gave us great advice. The hotel is clean and tidy. The hotel bistro offers an excellent wine collection. A few small suggestions to further improve the guest experience: Alquézar is a truly beautiful and characteristic town, and it would be nice to also find the style and atmosphere typical of the region in the hotel’s décor. Currently the rooms feel a bit neutral and cold; a warmer décor (yellow lights, not white), welcoming and in tune with the local context could greatly enhance the property. We also suggest considering the use of toppers for the beds, because the mattresses seemed a bit firm to us and greater comfort would make the stay even more pleasant.

The owners’ treatment was exquisite and very friendly, and they let us park in a garden area next to the hotel, which, given the lack of parking nearby, felt like a real privilege; we’ll definitely recommend it.

Very good, quality local food, and we appreciate the staff’s kindness and personal attention; the only downside was not being able to eat at the hotel.

The location was perfect, right next the car park for convenience and a short walk into the old town. Vehicular access was easy which facilitated visits to other historic towns in the area. The breakfasts and dinner were excellent, the rooms were tastefully and comfortably designed and appointed and the communications and helpfulness of the hosts all added to make for a most memorable and enjoyable experience
