Best place to stay, as you end up being 1 hour ahead of all the other tour boats coming from Lauban Bajo and going past the hotel. Rooms and food are fantastic and the reef out front is one of the best in the national park

The staff were incredibly friendly and the service quality was outstanding, and the house reef is absolutely stunning – we loved the snorkeling trips. However, you’re not allowed to jump straight into the water from the beach to protect the reef, which is understandable but wasn’t mentioned in the hotel description; I would have liked to swim directly from our sun lounger, a key reason I chose this place. The pool was a nice alternative, and you can also swim in the sea from the pier.

Fabulous location on an island - loved the privacy, the awesome house reef, and views. The pool was lovely but the real draw was the dive shop and the ocean. Plenty to see at the house reef but getting out on some of the trips is phenomenal. Our room was comfortable, clean and quiet with great AC. Loved sitting out on our balcony in the morning. Bathroom was large and clean. Full board is included. The food was ok but not everything was available. It's an island so understandable. Plenty of choices. Nice selection at the bar for sundowners if you are inclined. I wish there was a way to make a cup of coffee or tea in the room. That was disappointing to not have that small comfort in the morning. Really disliked that other resorts would come to the house reef with their clients but not adhere to the rules about not standing on the coral etc. Noticed a lot of people doing that. Otherwise it was perfect

The property is spectacular: you’re on one of the islands in the archipelago, surrounded by a coral reef, and every excursion is just 20–30 minutes away. The slightly heated infinity pool is perfect for relaxing after snorkeling or other activities, and the restaurant, bar and staff all deliver a 5‑star experience. The bungalows are well designed, everything is clean and organized, and free, high‑quality snorkeling equipment is provided – a once‑in‑a‑lifetime experience in what we think is the best place to enjoy it fully. Managers could be more accommodating, especially for guests on a full‑board plan, because one free pickup service to and from Labuan Bajo is not enough. The pricing for excursions is confusing: if there are two people you have to pay for four to cover costs, but if there are seven or eleven people you still pay the same price as for four. Prices should be adjusted based on the number of participants, since the route and staff remain the same. Spa prices are too high compared to Bali, and we saw very few people using the facilities. For these reasons we’re giving it a 9 instead of a 10.
